Rutile is normally evaluated where opacity and weatherability matter; A1 anatase is documented for coatings/paint and plastics, as well as rubber, papermaking and printing ink. Choose from the manufacturer-TDS application map, then qualify the grade in your formulation.
Rutile TiO₂
Four sulfate-process grades: universal R818 and R838, R868 for high-performance coating trials, and R878 for plastics-focused applications.
Anatase TiO₂
A1 is documented for coatings/paint and plastics, as well as rubber, papermaking and printing ink. Weathering-sensitive uses require careful application qualification.
